Stretch Marks

Stretch marks are small marks on the skin that appear when the collagen and elastin fibres of the dermis tear as a result of hormonal changes that happen suddenly and do not give the skin time to adapt.
To prevent or reduce stretch marks during pregnancy or at other stages in life, it is a good idea to avoid sudden weight gain or loss and keep the skin well nourished.
